Wooden Pergola Installation With Polycarbonate Roof Sheeting.
The Cape Decking team recently completed this wooden pergola installation in Hout Bay. The wood used was treated pine with a layer of white velvaglow paint. On top of the pergola, we installed IBR polycarbonate roofing sheets for protection from the wind, rain, and sun.
A pergola is an outdoor structure consisting of columns that support a roofing grid of beams and rafters, usually constructed out of timber, a pergola extends your living space and offers additional outside living. A pergola can aid in protection from the sun’s UV rays, depending on what colour and thickness of IBR roofing sheets you install. These roofing sheets also offer protection from rain and wind.
