What if I am only replacing existing decking boards?

The City’s guide gives “replacing floorboards” as an example of minor repairs that do not require approval, but it does not specifically refer to decking boards. Cape Decking therefore does not treat that example as a blanket exemption for deck work. If the scope of your project is uncertain, confirm the requirements with the City before construction begins.
